Longtime Friend of GPB Andy Irwin's Southern childhood storytelling is the wise comedy fodder around the folk songs of John Gorka, dubbed by Rolling Stone "the pre-eminent male singer-songwriter of what's been dubbed the new folk movement." Join us Saturday, December 20 at 8pm right after A Prairie Home Companion for this performance, captured live as part of the Evening Star Concert Series at The Sautee-Nacoochee Center at the eponymous North Georgia Appalachian mountain valley crossroads. We hope you enjoy it.
